Chapter 4: Data Transfer and Management

Meter Memory
The meter stores up to 1500 QC and patient test
results in its memory. The patient IDs and lot IDs for
test strips and control, linearity, and unknown
solutions are also stored in memory.
If your meter was configured by a workstation and
meter memory is low (less than 100 tests available),
the message
Data Memory Low
appears. When the
meter memory is full, the message
No Room for Test
Data
appears.
To continue using the meter for testing,
you must perform a data transfer session to upload the
data to the workstation and free the meter’s memory.
If your meter is operating in stand-alone mode and
data for 1500 results have been stored, the oldest data
is overwritten as new results are stored.
Reviewing Data
You may review patient, QC, linearity, and unknown
solution test results. In-service test results are not
available for review. You may also review a list of test
strip lot numbers and control solution lot numbers.
