Enter the receiving modem
phone number.
The number remains in the
meter’s memory. During a data
transfer session, the meter
automatically dials this
number.
Press
WAIT
to place a comma (representing a pause)
in the number. For example, if the phone number
includes a 9 to access an outside line, press
WAIT
after the 9.
Press
CLR
to clear an existing number. Press
DEL
to
delete the last character entered.
Installing a Barcode Scanner

Turn off the meter. Turn it over and press
down on the battery door latch. Remove and
discard the door—it will not fit once the
barcode scanner is installed.
