Condition
1. The message will be undated only after user
login and when released by dialing ‘9’.
2. To leave an Urgent message, change the
setting of message send option in COS (in PC
Program ‘ADMIN’ or online admin)
ONE TOUCH RECORD
Description
This feature allows the station user while on an
internal/external call, to press a button and have
the system record the conversation in the station
users mailbox. This is done by creating
conference among the parties in conversation
and the DVM port. A pause/resume function is
available while in the recording mode.
Operation
1. DKTU station user presses the button assigned
for DVM One-touch Record Feature whilst in
conversation with an internal/external party.
2. While the conversation is being recorded, the
[DVM One-touch Record]
button will flash at 240
IPM. And after it is finished, the
[DVM One-touch
Record]
button will be extinguished.
3. If the user pauses the recording during
conversation, the
[DVM One-touch Record]
button will flash at 30 IPM, and
[DVM
Pause/Resume]
button will be turned on. When
the conversation is resumed by pressing
[DVM
Pause/Resume]
button, the
[DVM One-touch
Record]
button will flash at 240 IPM, and
[DVM
Pause/Resume]
button will be extinguished.
Deactivation of VM Record
1. Recording operation is finished automatically
when station goes on-hook, or
[DVM One-touch
Record]
button is pressed again.
2. And if
[FLASH], [TRANS], [HOLD]
, or
[CONF]
button is pressed, or if CO party hangs up during
the recording, recording procedure is also
finished. This applies to the cases in which user
presses some flexible buttons programmed as
DSS, Group, CO or LOOP.
Condition
1. If no VM port is available when the station user
wants to record, the flexible button will not be
fluttered as indicating that the recording is
unavailable and it gives single error tone.
2. If the user hangs up without terminating the
record function, the system will perform the hang-
up procedure.
3. Digital telephones are allowed this capability.
4. If a recording is done to another internal station,
the station being recorded cannot invoke the
record feature.
5. Only one active recording per station is allowed.
6. Conference call users are not able to use this
feature.
7. A pause/resume function is available while in
the recording mode. This function allows the user
to suspend/start the recording during the record
mode.
ANSWERING MACHINE EMULATION
Description
This feature allows a station to monitor calls sent
to their mailbox. During monitoring, the station can
answer the call or let the caller continue to record
a message in the mailbox.
Operation
1. An incoming call rings a station and then
forwards to the voice mail (unconditional, no-
answer).
2. When answering machine emulation is enabled
as speaker mode by pressing the pre-
programmed
[Answer Machine - Speaker]
key,
the corresponding key will flash in case of an
incoming ring and the conversation between the
caller and DVM will be heard over the speaker.
3. When answering machine emulation is enabled
as ring mode by pressing the pre-programmed
[Answer Machine - Ring]
key, the corresponding
key will flash in case of an incoming ring and
audible ring will be heard over the speaker.
