Within the VoIP screen, adjustable parameters are:

Line
based
parameters
o
Proxy Server Address is the IP address or FQDN of the SIP call server or SIP
proxy.
o
Proxy
Port is the server port for incoming requests and outgoing responses
o
Display
Name is the name used as part of the IP Phone caller ID. The display
name assigned for Line1 displays on the LCD display.
o
Name is the name used during registration. The name is generally the telephone
number or the SIP user Id.
o
Authentication
Name is the user id for authentication of the line appearance with
the call server.
o
Authentication
Password is the password for authentication of the line appearance
with the call server.
o
Delayed
Ring delays audible notification (ring) for a line. The delay is set in 1-
second increments from 0 (no delay) to 10 seconds.

Registration
Status shows the status of the line registration with the call server.

Parameters

Outbound
Proxy
Address is the IP address or FQDN of the outbound proxy server
to receive SIP requests in place of the line-based Proxy Server.

Outbound
Proxy
Port is the port of the outbound proxy server
o
Backup Proxy Address is the IP address or FQDN of the backup proxy server,
used when the connection with the primary proxy times-out.
o
Backup
Proxy
Port is the port of the backup proxy server
o
Domain is the domain for SIP service when the service provider desires to use a
specific SIP domain.
o
VMS
Address is the address (IP or phone number) of the Voice Mail Server.
o
Proxy
Registration enables SIP registration to the proxy; this parameter is ignored
if an Outbound Proxy Address is not defined.
o
Registration
Timer is the interval, in seconds, between SIP registration renewal
attempts.
o
Local
UDP
Port is the UDP port used on the LAN for sending and receiving SIP
packets when the transport mode is UDP.
o
Local TCP Port is the local TCP port used on the LAN for receiving SIP packets
when the transport mode is TCP.
o
Local TLS Port is the local TLS port used on the LAN for receiving SIP packets
when the transport mode is TLS.
o
TCP
Port is the TCP port used on the LAN for sending SIP packets when the
transport mode is TCP.
o
TLS
Port is the TLS port used on the LAN for sending SIP packets when the
transport mode is TLS.
o
Transport
Mode is the SIP signaling transport mode. If the TLS is selected for
transport mode, TLS crypto suite is used.
