The Network Time screen allows you to set up the configuration for time and daylight savings
time. Within Network Time Configuration, the following parameters can be set.

Network Time Configuration
o
SNTP Server Address is the IP address or FQDN of the SNTP (Simple Network
Time Protocol) server.
o
Time
Zone defines the local time zone of the IP Phone.
o
DST
Usage enables or disables Daylight Savings Time.

Time Format
sets the format of the LCD time display, off, 12- or 24-hour.

Date Format
sets the format of the LCD date display using radial button selection. In
addition, the format of the date display can be customized using the “Format” text box
by entering the desired format with the characters shown below the text box.

DST Configuration
The DST configuration sets the format for daylight savings time. The start and end for
DST can be configured in the North American standard, Month/Week/Day/Time
format.
Known SNTP servers that can be used:

ntp.nasa.gov

clock.via.net
-
tick.ucla.edu
To modify parameters on the Network Time screen, select the desired parameter and enter new
values or select values from the drop-down menus. When complete, select
to load
new values in the IP Phone memory.
