8.9 Hot Desk
iPECS phones in the system may be assigned for Hot Desk operation. These Hot Desk phones let you log-
on and use the Hot Desk phone as if it were your station.
Once logged-on, the Hot Desk station will take on the attributes assigned to your station number, and you can
make and receive calls as normal.
When you log-out of the Hot Desk, you can choose a forward destination, such as voice mail, for your calls.
Contact your system administrator for details.
To Log on to a Hot Desk station:
1)
Press the Transfer (PGM) button.
2)
Dial *0 (Hot desk login code for UCP/eMG), '*0' is the Code that log on to the Hot Desk station.
3)
Dial your Authorization Code (Hot desk Station Number and Password). Please consult with your
System Administrator for further information.
To Log out of the Hot Desk station:
1)
Press the Transfer (PGM) button.
2)
Dial * twice (Hot desk logout code for UCP/eMG), '**' is the Code that log out from the Hot Desk
station.
3)
Use the or - button to select a call forward destination for your calls. You can select a
speed dial, mobile phone, built-in Voice Mail, or an external Voice Mail group.
4)
Press the HOLD(SAVE) button.
