Toner sensors (Y, C, M, K) on TMC card service check

Step

Perform the Base Sensor Test:

1. Enter the Diagnostics Menu (Turn off the

printer, press and hold

and

turn on the

printer, and release the buttons when the

progress bar appears).

2. Navigate to

Base Sensor Test

3. Select the sensor to test.
4. Open the toner door, remove the

corresponding toner cartridge.

5. Note whether the operator panel shows a

change in state.

Note

: If the reflective disk is not showing

on the cartridge, rotate the gear clockwise

to expose the reflective surface.

Replace the toner cartridge.

Replace the toner meter
