Important notes

Beforeswitching onthesupplyvoltageforthe931Eservopositioning controllerforthefirst

time, check the following connections for correctness and completeness:

Motor cable and synchronous motor connection (X3)

Feedback system connection (X7/X8)

Digital I/O connection (e.g. DIN9 of plug connector X5)

Connection of the voltage supply for control section and power stage (X2)

Connection of the serial communication cable (X1)

For additional information, please see the Controller Manual (GHB931E) or the Mounting

Instructions. For parametersetting, theserial interfaceof the931E (X1) must beconnected

with a free COM port on your notebook / PC.


