Drive specifications
Your computer comes with the following factory-installed drives:

An optical drive in bay 1 (some models)
v
A 3.5-inch diskette disk drive or card reader in bay 3 (some models)
v
A 3.5-inch primary hard disk drive in bay 4
Any bay that does not have a drive installed has a static shield and bay panel
installed.
Figure 12 shows the location of the drive bays.
The following list describes the type and size of the drive that you can install in
each bay:
