“COPY SIM” FUNCTION
With “Copy SIM” it is possible to
copy the phone book numbers of a
SIM card to another SIM card (target
card). To copy SIM card data proceed
as follows:
– select and confirm “Copy SIM”
with the right knob

screen asking to insert the target card
will be displayed;
– remove the origin SIM card press-
ing key

– insert the target SIM card;
– select “OK” and type the PIN code
of the target card, if required. If a
wrong PIN is entered it can be cor-
rected following the instructions given
in paragraph “
PIN code entry
”. Af-
ter entering the proper PIN code, the
message “Caution! Phone book is be-
ing re-written!” will be displayed on
the function page with options “Over-
write” and “Go back”;
– select “Go back” if a wrong target
card has been inserted and select
“Overwrite” to start copying;
“Edit phone book”
“Edit phone book” shall be used to
display a page of the phone book to
be copied and to edit it as required.
During this operation the number of
items to be cut yet is displayed. Select
these items with “Select” and choose
“Cut” to edit the phone book, then se-
lect “Write” if paste is required.
“Write until card full”
Use “Write until card full” to copy
automatically to the card as much
numbers as possible.
“Cancel”
Select “Cancel” to go back to the
“Phone options” screen.
– after completing the operation, the
system will ask if you want to copy
the same phone book numbers to
other SIM cards. Select “No” to return
to the “Options” page.
If the target SIM card has enough
memory to store all the new data of
the origin SIM card phone book after
the copy operation the target card will
show the new data otherwise a new
page with options “Edit phone book”,
“Write until card full” and “Cancel”
will be displayed.
