“SMS” FUNCTION
This option allows access to the SMS
message page (short text messages),
that can be received and sent (
fig. 51
).
Messages can be of 4 types:

SMS message sent

SMS message written, but not
sent yet
ó
SMS message received and not
read yet
ñ
SMS message and already read.
Menu options are the following:
– Process (to edit a message)
– Create (to write a message)
– Delete (to delete a message)
– Select (to select a message)
– Set
– Go back.
To display the SMS text, select it
and press “Read”.
Press ESC

the previous phone menu screen.
IMPORTANT
For some network
providers, the “SMS” function must
be made operational.
“Process” function
With this function it is possible to
edit a message written or to change
the recipient. To correct an SMS mes-
sage confirm “Process”, then select
the required message and edit it using
the “Text” and “Recipient” options.
“Create” function
Select and confirm this function to
display the page with the submenu to
be used for creating SMS messages.
Selecting and confirming “Text” ac-
cesses the screen that allows you to
write the text message (within the
limits of the space available of 160
characters) (
fig. 52
).
To enter the characters select and
confirm them with the right knob
