“SCHEDULE” FUNCTION
This function, that is turned on by
pressing the “Schedule” multifunction
key on the main on-board computer
screen (TRIP) (
fig. 89
), makes it pos-
sible to create an agenda with mes-
sages or events (e.g. birthdays, etc.)
that can be triggered both on set date
or mileage. Three days before the set
date or 200 km before the set mileage,
the display will show automatically
the relevant message.
After pressing the “Schedule” key
the page with stored messages and set
deadlines will be displayed. To scroll
the list use the right knob. Press “Go
back” to return to the previous screen.
To edit the text or deadline of a mes-
sage, select and confirm it with the
right knob and then press the “Cor-
rect” multifunction key.
Messages marked with the acronym
“Servicing” (messages relevant to
scheduled servicing) can only be read
by pressing the “Check” key.
Press “New” to display the screen (
fig.
94
) for entering new messages with the
relevant deadlines.
To write the message select and con-
firm “Text item”; to enter the char-
acters select and confirm them with
the right knob

To speed up character entry, the sys-
tem automatically moves to the be-
ginning or the end of the list by press-
ing keys “
¯ ˙
”.
To enter a blank space use “_”.
The multifunction keys “ABC abc”
allow you to pass from CAPITAL to
small letters and vice versa.
To confirm the message press “OK”,
and to correct it press “Correct”.
Press “Cancel” to quit without stor-
ing the message.
To set the deadline warning message
select “Date” or “Mileage”.
Press “Go back” to return to the
previous screen.
