CALLS FOR MEDICAL ADVICE
AND ROAD ASSISTANCE
For both “Road Assistance” and
“Medical Advice” calls, if transmis-
sion of the telematic call is not suc-
cessful, the display will show a warn-
ing message and the user is asked if
he/she wants to activate the call to
Targasys
centre (*) in any case to
inform of the need for assistance
(this call will be successful only if the
area in which the car is has GSM 900
coverage).
(*) In this case the operating centre
will not be able to locate the car.
IMPORTANT
If the user accepts an
incoming call, the
Targasys
operator
might have difficulty in contacting the
user since the number could be busy.
“ROAD ASSISTANCE”
FUNCTION
Selecting and confirming this func-
tion with the right knob

displays the screen for forwarding the
call for road assistance to the
Tar-
gasys
operator, completed with the
position of the car to allow it to be lo-
cated. The user has approx. 10 sec-
onds to interrupt the call by pressing
“Abort” otherwise he/she can confirm
it by pressing “OK”. If no key is
pressed, the call will be forwarded au-
tomatically after 10 seconds.
A first message will then warn the
user that the call has been forwarded
and a second one will confirm that the
call has been received inviting the
user to wait for the
Targasys
opera-
tor call.
