“FOLLOW ME” FUNCTION

This function makes it possible to

receive traffic information according
to the car position.

To activate this function, ask

Tar-

gasys

for “Infomobility” services or

select and confirm the “Follow Me”
function (where provided) with the
right knob

(

fig. 1

), thus display-

ing the screen for activating the ser-
vice. To send the service activation re-
quest press “Yes” otherwise press
“No”.

A message will confirm that the ac-

tivation request has been sent suc-
cessfully.

Selecting the “Follow Me” function

when the service is active, will display
the screen for deactivating it. To send
the service deactivation request press
“Yes” otherwise press “No”.

A message will confirm that the de-

activation request has been sent suc-
cessfully.

Using the “Settings” option (de-

scribed in the relevant paragraph),
the user can set the frequency for
transmitting the car position to the

Targasys

centre.

. The options available with the

multifunction keys are the following:

– Read

– Delete

– Delete all

– Go back.

Any received message, if not deleted,

will be stored. When the memory is
full, new messages will replace the old
ones.

Every message is identified by an

icon indicating the type of the mes-
sage and whether it has been read or
not (closed envelope stands for mes-
sage not read).
