6.2 ASSEMBLY AFTER TRANSPORT
While reassembling the SUPERHUMMEL after transport, the
following precedence of the individual work steps is to be kept:
1 Put the motor into the motor bearing bracket (Fig. 32) and
tighten the two motor nuts (Fig. 33).
2 Put the V-belts back on and tighten them with the tensioning
bolt at the motor (Fig. 34).
3 Replace the belt guard.
4 Insert the guide tube into the opening at the back of the
machine housing (Fig. 2, 1.) and tighten the wing nut (Fig.
2, 2.).
5 Put the lower rod in the hole of the lifting fixture (Fig. 3, 1.)
and fix them with the closure (Fig. 3, 2.).
6 Lift the sanding drum off the floor by turning the lowering
lever at the handle upwards (Fig. 12).
7 Attach the dust bag with the cord and the MultiClip at the
end of the guide tube (Fig. 6) and connect the machine to
the mains supply ( Section 4.2, Connecting the mains
supply ).
8 Your machine is now ready.
6.3 STORAGE
If you wish to keep the machine in storage for a protracted period,
ensure that it is kept dry and free of the influence of frost in a
location without excessive temperature fluctuations.
Unused machines should be kept in dry, locked locations out of
the reach of children!
NOTE:
When storing for long periods, place the machine on the bot-
tom part of the supplied transport crate or place a support
underneath the machine housing. This will prevent damage to
the sanding drum and stop the wheels becoming out of round!
