5 Remove the belt guard and release the V-belt tension by
loosening the tensioning bolt at the motor (Fig. 26).
6 Remove the small V-belt by turning the motor pulley and
peeling the belt off at the same time (Fig. 27).
Pay attention to your fingers squeezing danger!
7 Apply the box wrench (see tool bag) to the sanding shaft
and turn it clockwise while allowing the belt to run off the
pulley (Fig. 28).

ATTENTION!
Only turn through in the clockwise direction, as otherwise
the screw joint will work loose!
8 Release the motor nuts (Fig. 29). The motor nut must only
be backed out from the fitting between the motor nut and
motor bearing bracket, and not completely removed (Fig.
30).
9 Lift the motor out of the machine (Fig. 31) and secure it
during transport against slipping and damage!
NOTE:
During transportation, place a flat piece of wood between
the floor surface and machine housing. This prevents the
machine housing from slipping and stops the drum being in
direct contact with the floor!
