you play a widescreen (letterbox) movie, there will be margins
on the upper and lower sides of the screen.

Select this option when using a widescreen 16:9

Display Size

Select this option when using a standard
4:3 TV. When you play a widescreen (letterbox) movie, there
will be margins on the upper and lower sides of the screen.

Pan & Scan:
Select this option when using a standard 4:3 TV.
The picture will be adjusted to the height of the screen.
