Removing the Cylinder

Now that the cylinder guard has been removed, proceed with the removal of the Maximizer cylinder.

To remove the Maximizer cylinder, apply the following procedure:

Access the cylinder head area through the Maximizer door (see Figure 10

4).

Remove the bolts from the cylinder head cover (see Figure 10

9) and lift the cover to gain access

to the cylinder head.

Remove the head pin.

Start the engine and engage the hydraulic system.

Fully retract the cylinder using the Maximizer control handle (see Figure 10

1).

Check the shut-off valve on the suction line is completely open before engaging the
hydraulic system.
