d) Right-click on the “Ethernet” network adapter and select “Properties” in the
context menu.
e) Select “Internet protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4)”).
f) Click on “Properties.”
g) Select “Use following IP address:”
h) In the IP address enter 169.254.10.44
i) In the “Subnet mask” enter 255.255.255.0
j) Click on “OK.“
k) Click on “OK.“
Configuring the network
a) Right-click on the “Ethernet” network adapter and select “Properties” in the
appearing context menu.
b) Click on “Configure”.
c) Select the “Advanced” tab.
If you use an Intel

Ethernet card, select the menu item named “Jumbo xxx” in the
“Settings” menu. The name may differ slightly depending on the manufacturer of
the network adapter.
a) Select the highest value (9014 Byte) in the “Value” menu.
b) Close all windows by clicking on “OK“.
Install the HRSoft 2 program.
a) In the HRSoft2_xxx folder search for the installation program “setup.exe” for
HRSoft 2. Double click on this file. To do so, follow the instructions and confirm
dialogues with OK/Continue.
