4.22.4.1 Note
The module 694 443 58 Kuhnke FIO AI8-Pt/Ni/TC is the not compatible successor of the following modules:
694 443 02
Ventura FIO AI8-Pt/Ni100
694 443 04
Ventura FIO AI8-Pt/Ni1000
694 443 06
Ventura FIO AI8-TE
The module is ETG-conform.
That means when an existing FIO block
694 443 02 Ventura FIO AI8-Pt/Ni100 or 694 443 04 Ventura FIO
AI8-Pt/Ni1000 or 694 443 06 Ventura FIO AI8-TE
shall be replaced by a
module 694 443 58 Kuhnke FIO
AI8-Pt/Ni/TC
the control program of the EtherCAT master must be changed.

4.22.4.2 Setting Options
The transformation of the analog signals can be executed DC-synchronous (Distributed Clocks) or SM-
synchronous (Sync Manager).
The access to the input values and the module status is done via process data objects that are mapped in
variables of the control program of the EtherCAT master.
For information and settings Service data objects are designed.
Settings for the AI8-Pt/Ni/TC -module, such as the properties of the individual inputs can be made in the
configurator already offline. These are then executed by the EtherCAT master at startup.
It is also possible to make adjustments during runtime by executing the SDO transfer blocks of the EtherCAT
master control.
