Anti-ridging plate (G) fitted to side deflectors (L)
mounted at either side of the machine are adjustable
in height and forward position.
a) Height adjustment : Three positions exist de-
pending on working depths and blade wear.
To adjust the side deflectors (L), remove the 6 bolts
(F), place the plate (G) to its new position and re-
tighten the bolts (F) (torque 10 daNm / 75 ft.lbs)
(photo 12).
b) Forward position adjustment :
Two positions are provided.
- The rear position for use with packer rollers.
- The forward position if the machines are fitted
with Packerflex PX 2 crumbler rollers.
It is forbidden to pivot the side deflectors over the machine.
