Proceed for both sides (left and right) as follows.

Take the adjustment lever
out of the clamp.

Use the adjustment lever to
release the cap nuts on the
spreading disc. Remove the
spreading disc from its hub.

Figure 6:

Release cap nuts

Unscrew the cap nuts and
remove the spreading discs.

Put the adjustment lever
back into the clamp provided
for the purpose.
