C.4 Metering slide adjustment
Check that the metering slides open evenly before every working season and
also during the season, if necessary.
Requirements:

The mechanical items must be freely movable to check the metering slide setting.

The return spring is unhooked.

Hydraulic cylinder is unhooked.
Check (e.g. left side of solid fertiliser broadcaster):
2. Push the metering slide against the pin and lock it in this position by tightening
the adjustment screw.

The stop on the lower scale plate (metering scale) is positioned at scale
value 85. If the position does not match, the scale must be reset.

WARNING
Danger of crushing and shearing!
Power-operated components (adjustment lever, metering slide)
may crush and shear when working on them.
Pay attention to the shear points of the metering outlet and slides
during all adjustment work.
 Turn off tractor. Remove the ignition key.
 Do not operate hydraulic slide actuators during adjustment
work.
1. Take a lower link pin d = 28
mm and insert it centrally
into the outlet.
