Discharging residue
We recommend emptying the solid fertiliser broadcasters immediately after every
use to maintain its value. Proceed as with the calibration test to discharge the res-
idue.
Instructions for completely discharging the residue:
Small amounts of fertiliser may remain in the solid fertiliser broadcaster when dis-
charging residue normally. If you wish to discharge the residue completely (e.g.
at the end of the season, when changing broadcast material), proceed as follows:
1.
Empty hopper until no more material comes out (normal residue discharge).
2.
Turn off PTO shaft and tractor motor. Take out tractor ignition key.
3.
Remaining fertiliser should be removed with a soft water spray;

When the machine is running keep clear of the rotating
hubs.
If the drive shaft is rotating,
always
engage the metering
slide from the tractor cab only.
Direct all persons out of the danger zone of the solid ferti-
liser broadcaster before the calibration test

to position 0 during emptying of residue.
Please refer to the electronic control system manual
