10.12 Changing the tips

How to change the tips in the outriggers is described below; the central tip and the side tips are 
changed similarly. 

 

Fig. 84:  
• 

Disconnect sensor (row detection on right/left B 61/ B65) from the cable harness 
(optional). 

• 

Unscrew the cheese head screws (2) on both sides of the tip (1) and remove the tip (1). 

• 

Remove the bearing rings (3) from the tip (1) and insert them in the new tip. 

• 

Install the new tip (1) with the cheese head screws (2). 

• 

Connect sensor (row detection on right/left B 61/ B65) to the cable harness (optional).
