Further requirements
After these tasks, the MF90 system is turned on, but it is not transmitting ("pinging").
The transducer is hoisted to its upper position. If you wish to proceed with the setting
to work tasks, leave the MF90 system in this state. If you wish to proceed later, turn the
MF90 system off.

High voltages are used. This equipment must be serviced only by qualified personnel
familiar with high-voltage equipment and the potential hazards involved. Failure to
observe this precaution could result in bodily injury.
In the event of problems or malfunctions:
1 Locate the
Motor Protecting Switch
(S301).
2 Set the switch to position OFF .
Procedure
1 [ Bridge ]: Make sure that you have sufficient water depth below the keel before you
lower the transducer.
2 Use a spanner to open the door on the Motor Control Unit.
a Locate the
Motor Protecting Switch
(S301). Set the switch to position ON .
b Locate the
Hoist/Lower Switch
(S302). Set the switch to position REMOTE .
3 [ Bridge ]: Turn on the MF90 system.
4 [ Bridge ]: Lower the transducer to its middle position.
a [ Bridge ]: On the Operating Panel, press
Middle
