After storage

NOTE

If the machine is to be used when the monthly rust prevention
operation has not been carried out, please contact your
KOMATSU distributor.

When using the machine after long-term storage, do as follows
before using it.

z

Wipe off the grease from the hydraulic cylinder rods.

z

Add oil and grease to all lubrication points.

z

When a machine is stored for a long period, moisture in the
air will get into the oil.  Check the oil for presence of water
before and after starting the engine.  If there is water in the
oil, change the oil.
