3.2.5 Cap with lock
Use the starting key to open and close the locks on the caps.
The fuel tank filler port and the hydraulic tank filler port are
equipped with locks.
Method of opening and closing cap with lock
(for the fuel tank filler port)
To open the cap
1. Insert the key into the key slot.
2. Turn the key clockwise, align the key slot with the match
mark on the cap, then open the cap.
To lock the cap
1. Turn the cap until tight, then insert the key into the key slot.
2. Turn the key counterclockwise and take the key out.
Method of opening and closing cap with lock
(for the hydraulik tank filler port)
To open the cap
1. Insert the key into the key slot.
2. Turn the starting switch key counterclockwise and bring the
rotor groove in line with the aligning mark (1) on the cap.
Turn the cap slowly until a “clicking“ sound is made. This
releases the lock and allows the cap to be opened.
Position (a): OPEN
Position (b): LOCK
To lock the cap
1. Screw the cap into place.
2. Turn the starting switch key to LOCK position (b), then
remove the key.
