While holding the cover (4) open, remove the filter (5) in-
side it.
REMARK
• When removing, insert your finger into dent (D) of duct
and pull it toward you.
If you grasp the filter with excessive force, it will be de-
formed or damaged.
• If the filter is damaged or deformed, replace it with
new one.

Clean the filter (5) with compressed dry air.
Set the compressed air pressure to be less than 0.2 MPa
{2.1 kg/cm
2
} and blow it in the arrow direction.
If the filter is clogged too much to clean or oil sticks to the
filter or the filter gets dirty heavily, replace it with new one.
Replacement of it with the new one once in a year is rec-
ommended for usual usage.
If the filter is damaged or deformed, replace it with the new
one.

After cleaning, return the filter (5).
REMARK
• The fresh air filter must be installed facing it in the cor-
rect direction.
• When installing, direct the long end (L) of filter (5) to
the duct (6). If it is installed from the short end (S)
side, filter (5) will get stuck with protrusion (B) of the
sheet metal
The red band (R) is printed on the long end (L) of filter
(5).
• Keep the filter away from the protrusion (B) of the
sheet metal and insert it from the top first.
If the insertion is not enough or the filter is forcibly in-
serted from bottom, it will be deformed or broken.
After inserting it, pull it to the inside of the protrusion
(C) of duct (6).

Close the cover (4) and lock with the starting switch key.
Do not forget to remove the starting switch key after lock-
ing.
