Sorting - Barcode Criteria window

From this window you can select all options for one criterion within a
barcode rule.

Barcode

— allows you to select the type of barcode that must be

recognized on the sheet of paper.

• Codabar
• Code 128
• Code 3 of 9
• EAN-13
• EAN-8
• Interleaved 2 of 5
• UPC-A
• UPC-E
• PDF417
• QR Code

•

Any 1D Barcode

: indicates that any one-dimensional barcode on the

paper will meet the criterion. (PDF417 and QR Code are 2D.)

•

None Detected

: indicates that sorting will be performed if no barcode

is found on the paper. This option can be used to sort pages that are
expected to contain a readable barcode, but don’t have one.

NOTES:

- A barcode must have at least 4 characters, to be used for

barcode sorting. Contact Support at www.kodakalaris.com/go/
IMsupport if you need to sort with fewer characters.

- A barcode can be used in multiple criteria within the same rule.
- A barcode can be used in multiple rules.
