Automatic buffer recognition (Calimatic)

Automatic calibration using Knick Calimatic is performed with one, two, or

three buffer solutions. Protos automatically detects the nominal buffer value

on the basis of the electrode potential and the measured temperature. Any

sequence of buffer solutions is possible, but they must belong to the buffer set

defined during parameter setting.

The Calimatic takes the temperature dependence of the buffer value into

account. All calibration data is converted using a reference temperature of

25 °C/77 °F.
During calibration the module is in function check (HOLD) mode.

Current outputs and relay contacts of the module behave as configured

(Module BASE).

NOTICE!

Only ever use fresh, undiluted buffer solutions which belong to the selected

buffer set!
