IV. MECHANICAL INSTALLATION

MounTIng
The hardware used to mount the SVS2000 is provided by the customer. (Including suggested torque wrench
Sturtevant-richmond with torque range 4-12 lbf-in.) The SvS2000 ABS enclosure dimensions are shown in
TI-SvS-01. refer to Product Specifications, for Stainless Steel dimensions, and also product environmental
specifications before mounting the SvS2000.

Follow this procedure to mount the SvS2000 (ABS and SS versions):
1. (SS version) remove electronics by unscrewing baseplate screws (4). Baseplate and electronics are
removed together.
2. Hold the SVS2000 in the desired location and mark the positions of the mounting holes.
3. Drill the mounting holes.
4. Install the SvS2000 using hardware that will secure it firmly in place.
5. (SS version) Make entry holes in the bottom of the enclosure for cables and conduit. Hole location is
critical for proper PCB re-installation. Check clearances to ensure fittings and wire routing will not
interfere with the PCB.
6. (SS version) Re-install baseplate with electronics.
