3-14  Operation

KJM6710

Adjustment procedure

1. Connect a DC voltmeter to the JITTER OUT connector.

Send a DELAY MODE message and set the MANUAL delay

 

through the RS-232C interface.

2. Send a DELAY CONTROL message through the RS-232C

 

interface.

3. Vary the value of the command so that the DC voltmeter

 

reading is as close to 0 as possible.

The phase difference is at the optimum value when the voltmeter

 

reading is 0 V.
