Saving and Applying Configurations: Saving the Running Configuration

Saving the Running Configuration

To save the configuration, copy the running configuration to the startup configuration:

copy running-config startup-config

You can also save the running configuration from the Remote Web interface as
follows:

1. Click the

Configuration

button on the left side of the screen or

Configuration

from the Main Menu.

2. In the

Save

section of the screen, click one of the three options and make the

appropriate selection or entry as required.

3. Click the

Save

link. The screen refreshes and confirms your selection.

for details.

In this scenario, you will save the

running configuration

.



Note:

You should save the configuration each time you make a change that you
want to keep. If you reset Remote RMX-3200 without first saving the
configuration, any unsaved changes will be lost.
