Do not use with the back cover removed. Do not leave or
store in that manner. Doing so may allow dust or other
foreign matter to enter and cause a fault.
Do not place near corrosive chemicals or in places where
corrosive gas is generated. Doing so might cause a fault
or loss of internal data.
Stop use if there is smoke, abnormal odor or noise,
excessive overheating, or other abnormalities. During
charging, disconnect the specified charger (sold
separately) from the power outlet, make sure that the
product is not overheating before turning the power off,
remove the battery pack and contact an au shop or Keitai
Guarantee Service Center. Also, if you have dropped or
damaged the product, do not continue to use it in that
state, and contact an au shop or Keitai Guarantee Service
Center.
When inserting an earphone, etc. into the product, adjust
the volume to the proper level by increasing it gradually.
Suddenly turning the sound on with the volume set too
high, too loud a volume or using the earphone continuously
for a long period of time might adversely affect your ears.
Also, raising the volume too high might prevent you from
hearing sounds around you, which might in turn lead to a
traffic accident at a railroad crossing or pedestrian
crossing.
When using handsfree call, take care to keep the speaker
at a safe distance from your ears, as the speaker volume
may be too loud.

Turn off the product or set it to Airplane mode before going
aboard an airplane. Since using the product on airplanes
is restricted, follow the instructions given by the respective
airlines. If any functions are activated that power on the
product automatically, disactivate them.
Failure to do so might affect an airplane's electronic
instrumentation. If you commit a prohibited act while using
the product on an airplane, you might be punished by law.
Follow the instructions given by the respective medical
institution regarding the use of the product in a hospital.
Turn off the product in areas where the use of cell phones is
prohibited.
Failure to do so might cause interference with the operation
of electronic devices and electronic medical devices.
Do not send data by infrared communication with the
infrared port pointing toward eyes. Doing so might affect
eyes. Also, sending data with the infrared port pointing
toward some other infrared device might cause false
operation, etc.
If using the photo light/flash light, do not hold it in front of
someone's eyes, or point it at the eyes of someone driving
a car or riding a motorbike or bicycle. If the photo light/
flash light is lit, do not look directly into it. Eyesight may be
affected. Be especially careful not to shoot small children
from a very close distance.
