TV (1Seg)

TV (1Seg) is a digital terrestrial TV broadcast service for mobile
devices, and allows reception of image and audio as well as data
broadcast.
For details on the "1Seg" service, refer to the below website.
The Association for Promotion of Digital Broadcasting

Precautions when Using TV (1Seg)

•

No communication charges or packet communication charges are
incurred for using TV (1Seg). However, packet communication
charges are incurred for use of additional services associated with
data broadcast that use data transmission. Regarding NHK
reception fees, inquire with NHK.

•

While displaying the TV (1Seg) screen, the product may become
warm and cause low-temperature burns, etc. if used in contact with
the skin for an extended period.

•

Listening at a volume that is loud to the ears continuously for an
extended period may affect hearing.

•

TV (1Seg) is for digital terrestrial TV broadcast 1Seg in Japan only.

•

Overseas, 1Seg cannot be used due to differing broadcast formats
and frequencies. Also, BS and 110-degree CS digital broadcasts
cannot be viewed.

•

Do not use TV (1Seg) while operating a vehicle or riding a bicycle,
motorcycle, etc. or while walking. Doing so may prevent surrounding
sound from being heard and may distract you, causing a traffic
accident.

Signal

Signal may be weak in the following places and may affect picture/
sound quality or prevent reception.

•

Areas that are distant from or extremely close to the broadcast
station

•

In a moving train/car, underground shopping district, tunnel, indoors,
etc.

•

In a valley or shade of a building

•

Near high-power lines, neon lighting, a radio station, railway track,
highway, etc.

•

Other places where interfering signals are strong or signals are
blocked

To improve signal reception, try the following.

•

When viewing indoors, view near a window for better reception.

TV Antenna

The product has a built-in antenna.

■

Operation at Low Battery Level or High
Temperature

TV (1Seg) cannot be used when the battery is low or the product is at
a high temperature. TV (1Seg) also cannot be activated with a low
battery.
