6. Updating the

rmware and the core

6. Updating unit

rmware, core and display graphics

6.1 Firmware zip

The manufacturer will supply a zip

le containing all the

necessary

les for the upgrade.

The zip

le will include the following:

- s2terminal for the update

- Firmware

le (ELEOfw_rX.XX.srec)

- Core

le (ELEOcore_rXX.rbf)

- Graphics

le (ImagesPO_rX.bin)

- Upgrade

manifest

le (ELEO_rX.txt)

6.2 Upgrading the unit

rmware

1. Extract the zip

les into a suitable path on your PC.

2. Power on the unit to be updated.

3. Open the terminal connection.

4. Key in command

xu rX

and press ENTER

NOTICE!

is the version of the manifest

le.

5. A message will appear asking if you wish to update

the

rmware. Key in Y and press ENTER. The

les

are automatically uploaded to the unit in correct

order.

WARNING!

Make sure that the device's power isn't cut off dur-

ing the update or it might corrupt the whole system.

6. After the

les have been updated the unit will restart

automatically. Wait for the restart to complete.

7. Switch the unit OFF.

8. Wait for 30 seconds and switch the unit ON again.
