Basic operation in TV or Radio mode (live operation)
Recording:
You have the following selection options:
- “As from now”:
Recording is performed from the present time
- “Later”
Recording begins at the start time entered in the “Start” line
Start:
You only need to enter the start time for a recording if you have selected the recording type “Later”.
End:
The end of the recording is determined automatically by the receiver, based on the available EPG data.
If you wish you can however change this manually.
Duration:
The duration of a recording is determined automatically by the receiver, based on the start and
fi
nish
times. You can however correct the duration manually. In this case the receiver automatically adjusts the
end time to correspond to the new recording duration. The start time of the recording remains unchanged.
Decrypt:
Here you can select whether the programme should be recorded unencrypted (select “Yes”) or
encrypted (select “No”) on the hard disk.
Selecting “On” means that, depending on the setting in the “System parameters” “Common
Interface” “Multiple decoding” menu, you may not be able to view any other encrypted channels that
use the same CA module for decoding (see Chapters “System parameters” “Common Interface”
“Multiple decoding”).
Press the
button to start the recording - you can cancel it by pressing the

(red dot)
button. To abort the recording after it has started, you must press the
button, use the
buttons
to select the recording to be aborted and press the
button to con
fi
rm the action.
To start recording directly to the hard disk, press the
(red dot) button. The following display appears
