The UFC 960sw provides a special function here. As soon as you switch to a channel, the receiver
automatically starts recording the programme you are viewing to the hard disk in the background. When you
change channel again, this stored data is deleted and background recording begins again.
This continuous background recording by the receiver offers you the following options:
- Rewind back to the time when you switched to this channel, and also fast forward up to the live signal
(
buttons)
- Pause function (
button), the picture is frozen
- Going forward and back in 30-second steps (
buttons)
If, after viewing a programme for a time, you decide you want to record it, you can do so as from the
point you switched to that channel (see “OTR”).

time-shift” option must be set to “On” and the “Standard recording duration”
selection must allow suf

cient time for the time-shift recording.
