•
connect [maintain]
—Attempt to initiate a connection to the client, if Media Flow
Controller doesn't already have one. The optional
maintain
parameter is the same as
described with the
reconnect
command above.
•
disconnect
—Break any connection Media Flow Controller currently has with the
client. Note that if
auto-connect
is enabled, this acts the same as
reconnect
. But if
there is a temporary auto-connect enabled through
maintain
to the
connect
or
reconnect
commands, this undoes that override, so Media Flow Controller returns to
behaving as
auto-connect
is set.
•
enable
—Enable or disable (with
no
) this appliance from being managed. No connection
is made to the appliance unless it is enabled.
•
port
—Set the port to use when initiating a connection with this appliance. Use
no
to reset
the default, 22, the standard SSH port.
•
remove-key
—Remove a known host from root's .ssh known_hosts file.
•
rename
—Change the name/ID of an appliance record. There may not already be a record
with the new ID; if there is, this command fails.
•
source
—Configure options for client-initiated connections from this appliance.
•
address
—Set the IP address from which Media Flow Controller gets client-initiated
connections from this appliance. If set, Media Flow Controller does not accept client-
initiated connections from this appliance unless the source address matches this
setting. Use
no
to clear this field, so Media Flow Controller verifies against the main
appliance address (configured with
cmc appliance <appliance_id> address
<address>
).
•
port
—Set the source port from which Media Flow Controller gets client-initiated
connections from this appliance. If set, Media Flow Controller does not accept client-
initiated connections from this appliance unless the source port matches this setting.
Use
no
to clear this field, which means Media Flow Controller does not verify the
source port.
show cmc [appliances [<appliance_ID>] [brief]]
Gives an overview of the CMC's configuration and operational status. Use
appliance
option to
list all the appliances currently configured, and gives their status. Use
<appliance_ID>
to
show the settings and status for an individual appliance, in full. Use
brief
option to show only a
brief summary of each appliance; otherwise, we show each in full.
cmc auth
Configure CMC authorization. See
“CMC Setup > Identities” on page 71
for implementation
details.
cmc auth
ssh
host-key {strict | global-only}
{ssh-dsa2 | ssh-rsa2} identity <identity>
generate
public <key>
private [<key>]
