6.6.1 Checking the hydraulic oil level
Requirements
– Park the truck on a level surface.
– Start the engine and fully raise and lower the
mast once.
– Switch off the engine.
Procedure
• Remove the hydraulic oil dipstick (200) from
the hole wipe it with a clean cloth and insert
it fully again.
• Remove the hydraulic oil dipstick and check
the level of the hydraulic oil.

For cold oil: The oil level should lie between the “Min.” and “Max.” levels.
For hot oil: The hydraulic oil should lie just above the MAX marking.
• Add hydraulic oil if necessary.
• Repeat the test.
• When the oil level is correct, fully insert the hydraulic oil dipstick (200) again.
6.6.2 Adding hydraulic oil
Procedure
• Unscrew the cap of the hydraulic oil filter
(201).
• Add hydraulic oil in small amounts.

Use only approved hydraulic oil (see
consumables table).
• Keep checking the hydraulic oil level with the
dipstick until you have reached the correct oil
level, (see "Checking the hydraulic oil level"
on page 157)
• Screw the cover with the hydraulic oil filter back on.
• Insert the hydraulic oil dipstick back in full.
