4 DFG/TFG maintenance checklist

Brakes 1.1 Check effectiveness of operating and parking brakes,
adjust where necessary and measure braking distance.

1.2 Check brake lining wear and check brake drum diameter

1.3 Check brake fluid level in container and top up if
necessary

1.4 Change brake fluid annually, bleed the system if
required

1.5 Check connections and lines for leaks

1.6 Check brake mechanism, adjust and lubricate if
necessary

Electrics 2.1 Test operation of instruments, displays and control
switches

2.2 Test warning and safety devices
