5. Installation and start-up.
5.1. Installation
Do not install the machine near active heat sources (heaters, radiators, etc.). Leave a
distance of at least 7 centimetres between the back of machine and the wall or other
items.
IMPORTANT:
It is important for the machine to be level, as it should operate in a
vertical position, both laterally and back to front, located so the mains plug is
accessible and with a maximum inclination of 5% (~2 °).
Adjustable levelling feet
Once the machine has been placed in its permanent
position, raise the front and level the door using the left
and right adjustable levelling feet (see fig. 39). With this
system you can help to level the door perfectly, thereby
preventing scraping it.
Fig. 39
5.2. Connection to mains
The machine is set up to work with a single-phase voltage of 230 V, 50 Hz (110V, 60Hz)
protected with 10 A and 15 A fuses.
Before connecting the machine to mains, please make sure that mains voltage coincides
with the data which appear on the machine identification label (which is affixed to the
inside of the machine door) with variations under ±6%.
► The supply line should be appropriate for the distributor’s usage needs.
► Use an earth leakage protection system.
► Position the machine so the mains socket is accessible.
The mains socket should be compatible with the machine’s plug. If it is not, it should be
replaced with a compatible socket.
The connection should include a grounding connection in compliance with regulations.
IMPORTANT:
It is very important that the electrical circuit has an appropriate
ground connection which meets current regulations. If in doubt, have a qualified
technician check the installation.
