of water needed is very small (that corresponding to one sale) the water temperature in
the boiler is allowed to experience very small fluctuations.
The machine is programmed so that, should the air-break water level not appear to
descend during consecutive sales totalling 200 cc of water, so no water is taken from
mains, the machine will be put out of service (air-break floater stuck). To solve this
problem, lower the floater manually and turn the machine on again.

The air-break is located at the back of the cabinet. To access it, remove the screws that
hold the back cover of the cabinet and remove the cover from the support pins.
Some dirt and scale deposits may appear at the bottom of the air-break. In order to avoid
the problems that might ensue from this for the proper operation of the water volume
counter, a food-grade plastic filter has been fitted in the water pipe from the air-break to
the volume counter inlet.
Electronic control system
It consist of several printed circuit cards:
•
Control card
, which governs all of the machine’s movements, as well as
programming of options and product audits, and also power sources that supply
appropriate voltages for logic control, to move the tray motors, to supply peripherals
on bus 485. The program is recorded in FLASH memory.
•
Display card,
which has the LCD display, the buzzer control and connections for the
product selection pushbutton panel and the programming pushbutton . This is a
peripheral unit controlled by the control card with which it communicates using the
485 bus. The display can show animations.
•
•
Relay card
, which governs the heating element of the pressure boiler .
