8. Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning the machine.
To ensure the machine works properly at all times, we recommend that the following
components be cleaned periodically:
►Fort he cleaning of machine parts in contact with food it is required the use of
chlorinated prodcuts based in linear alkybenzene sulfonate (LAS) and [sulfatos de
cadena ramificada (ABS)]
► The advertising and key panels should be cleaned periodically with a moist cloth or
sponge and a neutral product suitable for cleaning glass.
► In case of product spills, product containers should always be cleaned with a cloth
moistened with water.
► If there is a spill on a container, remove the container from the machine and clean it
using a cloth moistened with water, never with alcohol or acids. Dry it before replacing it.
► In general, keeping all internal areas that are visible to consumers clean increases
sales and improves the image of the machines.
► Do not clean the machine with a water jet.
► It is very important never to touch those areas powered at 220 V, such as the ballast
box, the power box and live cables. Access to these areas is restricted to qualified
personnel.
► Access to servicing area should only be permitted to persons with a knowledge of and
practical experience in the machine, particularly with regard to health and safety.
► To clean the exterior of the machine, use a moist cloth with warm water and dry with a
soft cloth.
► In case of persistent stains (grease, drinks, etc.), do not apply abrasive products. Do
not use a cleaning sprays! Use a solution of water and alcohol.
