Removal and Replacement

Disconnect cables from rear of alternator, remove bolts

and

and withdraw unit from machine.

Replace by reversing the removal sequence. Position the
alternator until belt deflection is approximately 10mm (3/8 in)
before tightening bolts

and

. It may be necessary to

slacken bolt

to allow full movement of alternator. Tighten

bolt

last of all.
