Drain the oil from the casing by removing the suction
strainer

. Remove and discard the oil filter

If the gearbox is fitted with a 2/4 wheel drive unit

remove it. For the correct procedure see

Hydraulic 2/4

Unscrew bolts and withdraw pump.

Remove and discard pump sealing ring.
