To use the Analog Output:
Step 1)
Connect the appropriate end of the cable to the instrument, and connect the other end
of the cable to a device (e.g. oscilloscope) with at least 1 MEGOHM (1,000,000 Ohms) of
impedance to prevent loading down the output signal.
Step 2)
In the Instrument Setup screen, set Adaptive to Disabled, set Gain to 1X , set Analog
Output to Enabled and Measure Shutter to Always Open. The Frequency Response can
be set to the u ser’s preference depending on the noise characteristics of the signal. In
OPEN, the bandwidth is 20 KHz (50 µsecs).
Step 3)
Set up the source and press the Measure button to begin the measurement.

Warning: If Adaptive mode is enabled after enabling Analog output, Gain and Frequency
Response values remain unchanged. Gain and Frequency Response (determined by
the adaptive algorithm) values will only change after a measurement is taken.
