ADVANCE 2000 Mounting the nozzles into the nozzle holders
Bijet
The bijet nozzle holder leaves the factory al-
ready mounted onto the spraying extensions.
Nevertheless, it will be necessary for you to
install the nozzles that you chose when pur-
chasing the equipment. To install the nozzles
into the nozzle holders, proceed as follows:
• The conical nozzles can only be mounted
onto the threaded sleeves. Nevertheless,
the threaded sleeves may also accept the
fan type nozzles. Under this condition the
fan type nozzles must be aligned through
the use of the nozzle alignment spanner
which is found in the equipment acces-
sory box. To do this proceed in the follow-
ing manner:
1. Install the fan type nozzle unit into
the nozzle holder and tighten it by
hand onto the threaded sleeve.
2. Place the nozzle alignment spanner
onto the fan type nozzle and align it
to the extension.
3. With the spanner aligned, tighten
the nozzle threaded sleeve.
4. The fast connect sleeves were exclu-
sively developed to be used with the
fan type nozzles. Their design pre-
vents the nozzles from being moun-
ted in an incorrect manner.
ATTENTION!
To work with flat spray nozzles
(fan) it is necessary that they are
positioned at an angle of 4 to 6
in relation to the boom.
Remain alert as to the correct us-
age of the filters (mesh) for the
nozzles. Read up on the manu-
facturer technical literature.
