ADVANCE 2000 Adjusting the track
Before starting to open or close the track on
the ADVANCE 2000, drain the reservoirs so that
the equipment becomes lighter, facilitating
the operation; it is also recommended that the
equipment be completely washed down, as
well as the reservoirs, so that it diminishes the
risks of contamination of the mechanic who
will perform this operation.
The track must be chosen as a result of the
terrain topography. With the equipment cle-
an and the reservoir drained, place it on a
flat location and follow with the procedures
given below:
1. Switch off the tractor’s engine and keep
the equipment hitched to the tractor. Pla-
ce the hydraulic jack on the spot as ma-
rked by the sticker (D) on the chassis.
2. Raise the equipment on one side, suffi-
ciently to raise the tire just off the ground.
3. Loosen the bolts (C) on the half shaft
mounting plate.
4. Set the half shaft to the desired track (E).
5. Tighten the bolts on the half shaft’s faste-
ning plate (F).
6. Repeat this operation on the other side of
the equipment.

ATTENTION!
Before starting any work, make
a careful analysis of the terrain’s
topographic conditions and if nec-
essary increase the track to prevent
any damage to the equipment.
This procedure must be carried
out by an experienced person
with the machine empty and
very well scotched on a leveled
ground. Do not allow people or
animals near the machine during
this procedure.
